Dwight is seeking a diligent and skilled Software Developer to join our Development team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the product owner, end users, and other developers to understand business/technical requirements
  • Architect and design solutions to optimize Dwight’s lending platform, ensuring security, scalability, and usability
  • Design data models and workflows that leverage Dwight’s proprietary data and machine learning algorithms
  • Build features in Javascript/Typescript, React/Redux, and Node.js, all hosted on AWS
  • Produce clean, efficient code that provides lift in the sales process, proactively identifies risk to the business, and increases process efficiency
  • Write effective unit tests and achieve good coverage

About You

  • You have 4+ years of full-stack software development experience and have worked with Typescript, Node.js, React, and TypeORM, and PostgreSQL (preferably at a fintech)
  • You have experience and proficiency with Python, and Tableau
  • You have strong experience building and training Machine Learning models and integrating them with external APIs. You’re proficient in Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch or other machine learning / AI frameworks
  • You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze user data, conduct market research, and make data-driven decisions
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup environment
